Diamond Eyes 03:10
You can't break this heart of stone. I am a pillar. I am a monument. I stand stronger through the storm. You blow in with diamond eyes. Strike bright like holy fire. I feel the cracks run through me. I was looking for this. I wasn't ready, no. I can't break this hold. You've found a weakness in my heart of stone. I'm not as strong as I once thought I was. Don't let me go. You've left my love exposed. I am defenseless, senseless for you. Diamond eyes have cut me to the core. I begin to build a wall. Brick by brick I stack them tall To protect my hardened heart. Oh, the trumpets blow. The walls come down like Jericho. Rescue me from the wreckage, diamond eyes. Diamond eyes come chip away, break through heart of me.

Roots and bark of trees will start to wither black from parasites. Like bugs and beetles burying their needles far beneath the skin. Leaves will fall and branches crawl close to the floor. Trunks will break and bodies quake as gravity claims one more. A prayer goes up to the god of sun. Save me from decay. A prayer goes up to the god of love. Save me from decay. I scraped my knees begging won't you please set me upright, set me free. I don't want to be just another melody in the memories of my friends. You and me, we are not the leaves. We are the branches of the tree. Where knowledge blooms to sacred flowers, And love is the seed. I don't want to fall. Roots deep, body strong. But if the wind takes me, may my body feed the seed.
4.
You Fall 03:17
Do not judge so harshly all the ones who've done you wrong. You are not so innocent. Filthy is your heart. All of are fallen like the leaves in the late autumn. None of us are godly evergreen. You fall, you fall, you're one of us. A heartbeat strong is often wrong. You fall, you fall, no difference. In time we all need forgiveness. Eye for eye and tooth for tooth until we finally learn the truth. Love and blood flow through our veins, you and I the same. Know that I will bleed you just as sure as life's within you. We've not learned on thing since the dawn of man. Be not judge, be not jury for none of us have come deserving anything but the harshest sentencing. We bleed our friends, betray our lovers, make enemies out of our brothers. All of us are just killers, liars, and thieves.
5.
Something isn't right here. I can't seem to make it all clear. The reasons we are living. Is there a reason at all. We're all longing for some purpose. Maybe its all worthless. Just a product of the chances Spinning in the darkness. I want to know what it is. What am I looking for? Is it outside my door in all the patterns of the chaos? Ordinary Love, maybe love is a door? Maybe love is a door to something bigger than all of us? I'd like to think that god is rooting for his subjects. Keep on sending all his love down in tiny little rockets ships. Somehow we can't see them so we choose to disbelieve it Until the day she ends it so sad and disappointed.
6.
I am a man of a family. My roots go strong and deep. Branches spreading out from me Bear the fruit of a future seed. I'm the man of a family. One by one my leaves turn brown, Fall twisting to the ground. Pile them high and break them down. Make rich the soil, make sweet the sound Of my feet and my lover's next to me. As I grow strong gonna lift you up. Arms outstretched to the morning sun. Everything I can I will give to you. Every promise made I will see it through. Everything I learn I will teach to you And if I'm wrong I'll admit the truth. I'm always striving to be Kind - just like your mother. Strong - Just like your father. Wise - Just like the ones who come before. Heart of a family. Line by line she traces me. Braggart bark of a stubborn tree. Patient heart, forgiving mind. Her callous brings a polished shine To the man of a family. Every little thing I do's for love.
